We rekey car locks when keys are lost or stolen and you want the old ones to stop working.
About the service
When a key is lost or stolen it is not enough to make a new one: the old one has to stop opening the car. For that the locks are rearranged (rekeyed) and the new key is cut to the rearranged ones. This is especially important if the car documents were lost together with the key, because they can lead to your address.
The same is sensible if you have bought a used car and do not know how many keys are in circulation. With chip keys, the old ones can be deleted from the car system at your request, so they no longer start the car.

For lost car keys the price depends on the make, model and year, so it is agreed over the phone.
Prices include VAT and are indicative. After an inspection on site they may be adjusted.
