Copying is fastest and most trouble-free from an original key, not from a duplicate of a duplicate, which sometimes does not work the first time. So bring the original; if you do not have one, bring the lock cylinder when it is a cylinder lock.
Keys for high-security systems such as EVVA are copied only against the original security card, so keep the documentation of your mechanisms.
